Glee: Best new show this fall.

So the pilot for Fox's new show Glee was on this week. It was fan-tastic! It's so refreshing to see a well written, funny, hour long show NOT involving cops or doctors. It was such a tease because the show doesn't actually start until the fall - but it makes me so excited to see the whole season!

The cast is great. Lea Michele who plays Rachel (the over-acheiving musical theater chick. Think Sharpay Evans from HSM only she sits at the loser table instead of the popular table) reminds me of Idina Menzel. She looks like her but she also has an amazingly powerful voice. It's no surprise that she was in the original cast of Spring Awakening.
I also love Matthew Morrison who plays Will, the Spanish teacher who takes over as director of the Glee club. He reminisces back to the days when he was in Glee in high school and has to deal with is super annoying idiot wife.

And ok let me clear things up here. I've never heard of a real high schoo having a glee club. Singers either join choir or sing in musicals. Or, dare I say, join show choir. THAT is what glee club is in this school (which is actually set in Ohio!) Being a proud alum of an Ohio show choir I can definitely relate to this show. It definitely brings back memories of the good ol' days.

Katy Perry's Waking Up in Vegas

I love this girl. I went to her concert last month and not only was it fantastic she was super hilarious. I would love to be her friend and go to Vegas with her.
Speaking of which the video for her song "Waking Up in Vegas" just came out and it's so fun! The guy in it is Joel Moore from Dodgeball, or from the Paris Hilton classic The Hottie and the Nottie.
Makes me want to go to Vegas!

Those crazy Cavaliers...

So, being born and bred in Cleveland it's needless to say how absolutely excited I am that the Cavs are dominating in the playoffs. I adore them, and not because they ARE the best team in the league. The are some of the most fun guys I've ever seen play the game together. They're so goofy and always look like they're having fun (as they should, I mean basketball is a GAME). Anyways my brother found this on youtube and it is a gem. These boys are hilarious. As I've often said I just want to be best friends with all of them and hang out with them at Lebron's huge house. Too big of a dream? I think not. Enjoy! And go Cavies!!!

So I finally watched the Susan Boyle video from Britain's Got Talent. If you haven't watched it, it is life changing. I know its like seven minutes long but trust me, it's so worth it.

When I first heard about this I thought she was really bad the way they made it seem but once I finally watched it and watched some of the responses to it - it's all love baby!

What would life be without Perez Hilton? Boring and uninformative that's for sure. Found this little gem on Perez last night. Mr. Hilton is kind of obsessed with Lady GaGa (as should we all). I recently bought her album and it is quite fantastic. Steffani Germanotta (GaGa's real name - you were wondering weren't you?) recently revealed the meaning behind her single "Poker Face." I love hearing the stories behind songs. So interesting.

Having just broken up with her gf Samantha Ronson, Lindsay sought out the Funny or Die guys to help her earn life points by making fun of herself. (In my opinion, making fun of yourself earns you LOTS of life points.)

Ok, ok I know we've all heard all we can about Bo Obama, the new White House puppy. But I had to post Brian William's report on Nightly News last night. He is one of the funniest people and I love watching him do lighter stories because he gets to show his humorous side. Watch him on a talk show, trust me you'll want to be best friends with him.

I haven't posted in a while and I have a stock pile of random stuff just for such an occasion!
I first saw this on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon blog. Can I just say how jealous I am that they have three people that are paid to blog?! Dream job? I think so. Anyways it's a great place because they post the funniest stuff - including this little diddy. Disregard the people in the front speaking German. Keep your eyes on the fabulous tänzerinnen in the background.

Three weeks ago Tom Thumb, this tiny Jack Russell Chihuahua mix, was born. He may be the tiniest puppy ever born! If Tom were my puppy I would use one of my three wishes and ask my genie to keep him small forever.

Boston NBC affiliate not airing 10pm Leno Show

I'm a big TV geek so I find programming news like this incredibly intriguing. This whole Leno at 10 thing is going to be very interesting and I think stories like this will continue until the show airs this fall. We shall see. I'm just super excited for Conan to be back and I must say I am really enjoying Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Anyways here's the article.

NBC affiliate in Boston nixes new Jay Leno show

"Boston NBC affiliate WHDH plans to air a local newscast instead of Jay Leno's new 10 p.m. talk show. The move is prompting a threat from NBC to strip the TV station of its network affiliation. Station owner Ed Ansin says he does not believe Leno's new show will be successful."

J.O.N.A.S. Premieres May 2!

So (don't judge) but I love me some Disney Channel. Love the HSM movies, watching Hannah Montana, and of course the kings of DC - the Jonas Brothers! It's just a silly thing that my friends and I like to have fun with - but I digress...
The JoBros have a new show on Disney Channel (aptly names J.O.N.A.S. which stands for something) and I just found out it premieres May 2 at 8pm! I am quite excited because I find these boys rather entertaining.
oceanUP.com is a great site that is kinda like the Perez Hilton of the Disney Channel world. It's one of my favorite ways to procrastinate and they had some pics up from the new Jonas show and thought I'd share. Plus I have a thing for boys in private school attire. God only knows where that came from...
